Philosophy

Christine lives by the philosophy of having empathy for others and providing help when needed. She feels the need for tenderness and patience with students.

She believes each person has tremendous potential and counselors should help motivate students to reach that potential.

Method

Adlerian theory and cognitive behavioral therapy are her chosen counseling theories. They are goal-oriented, stress the collaborative relationship between the counselor and student, and are positive in approach.

They recognize that thoughts, emotions, and behavior are connected. Christine believes that people strive to master love, work, friendship, self, and spirituality.
